23rd Annual Stockton Earth Day Festival
"Think Global, Act Local" is the theme of this year's 23rd Annual Earth Day Festival, Sunday, April 10th, from 11 am to 4 pm at Victory Park, behind Haggin Museum in Stockton.
This is the premiere environmental event in all of San Joaquin County, and as always, the focus of the day long festival is to educate you about taking care of our natural resources - the earth, air and water. The Festival will have dozens of informative, interactive booths, displays and exhibits, plus there will be plenty of great food and exotic crafts. Begin the day with Yoga on the park green at 10 am.
Join the hundreds of cyclists who will bike as part of the Family Fun Bike Ride and Parade. Registration is at 10:30 am. Or just come for the entertainment and the official start of the Festival at 11 am, which will feature colorful ethnic dance groups and great area bands. It is a fun day for families, and best of all, admission is free.
